THE GOODFELLOWS NEWSPAPER DRIVE IS CARRIED OUT IN LATE NOVEMBER EACH YEAR TO RAISE FUNDS FOR FOOD BASKETS WHICH ARE DELIVERED TO THE NEEDY FAMILIES AND OTHER NEEDY PERSONS PRIMARILY AT CHRISTMAS AND EASTER BUT ALSO THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AS THE NEED ARISES. AN ANNUAL FUNDRAISING BANQUET IS ALSO HELD TO RAISE FUNDS. CASH DONATIONS ARE GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED FROM THE PUBLIC. THE BELLE RIVER GOODFELLOWS ALSO ACCEPT SUPPORT FROM OTHER CHARITIES AND PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS FROM THE GREATER BELLE RIVER AREA.
