Weekly worship services are available both in person and online. We provide pastoral support and care for those in need. Hope supports Canadian Food Grains Program and youth programs as Young Life offering for group meetings. Hope runs programs for adults and youth including Alpha Beta and GEMS. Hope also supports our family in Wycliffe Translators while Life Groups provide social and emotional support to our members. The CAP program addresses mental health issues with expert professionals. Hope supports Canadian Food Grains Program and youth programs as Young Life offering for group meetings. Hope runs programs for adults and youth including Alpha Beta and GEMS. Hope also supports our family in Wycliffe Translators while Life Groups provide social and emotional support to our members. The CAP program addresses mental health issues with expert professionals. Our outreach program sponsors a child from Watoto. The knitting group creates blankets for local seniors as well as seniors in nursing homes and Hospice. Hope is co-sponsoring with World Renew and the North Durham Refugee Reunification Sponsorship to bring a family of11 people from Syria to Canada. This five-year process culminated with the family's 1 year support ending in October. It has been a busy time for Hope's congregation helping provide skills to look for jobs planning baby showers and an engagement party. The Family ministries program has grown to include more children programs. Coffee Break program is continuing to offer new mothers support within the community and church families. The Wednesday Senior program is open to senior within the church and community. Men's breakfast happens once a month at a community restaurant which is partnering with us to provide men of all ages support.
New programs
Hope offered free several training courses this year. First Aid and CPR classes have been provided to make members and rental group individuals confident in using the AED if needed. A new partnership has been established with the local foodbank so that a new collection of goods is arranged each month . The most needed products changes each month.
