THE OPERATION OF A PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY SEASONAL PATRONS AND VISITORS WHILE PROMOTING LITERACY AND COMPREHENSION. THE LIBRARY OFFERS ALL MATERIALS FREE OF CHARGE INCLUDING WELL ESTABLISHED COLLECTIONS OF FICTION NON-FICTION INDIGENOUS AND PERIODICALS IN BOTH ENGLISH AND FRENCH. FREE IFI AND COMPUTERS USE PHOTOCOPYING AND LAMINATING. WE HOLD MONTHLY CHILDREN'S CRAFT NIGHTS & POPCORN MOVIE NIGHTS. WE DONATE OF A BURSARY TO GRADUATING STUDENTS IN BOTH THE ENGLISH AND FRENCH HIGH SCHOOLS.

New programs

IN 2024 WE PRESENTED A 'REPTILE ADVENTURE CAMP' EVENT FOR THE COMMUNITY. SENT OUR 'VALENTINES FOR VET'S'. HELD MONTHLY MOVIE EVENTS WITH THE 'PAVILION WOMEN'S CENTRE AND OFFERED FREE NEW CLOTHING FOR MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY. WE WERE A 'TACKLESHARE LOANER SITE'. THE LIBRARY HELD A REMEMBRANCE DAY MOVIE AFTERNOON PRESENTED THROUGH THE NATIONAL FILM BOARD OF CANADA.
