We have an indoor gym area with centres that include trampoline riding vehicles teeter totter hoops ball games net practice dramatic play trucks & cars building blocks or LEGO. During gym time we plan an active 5-10 minute workout alternating activities such as music & movement games sports or obstacle course challenges. By having small class groups we are best able to give individual care. Playshare was able to provide services to 15 children in June 2023 and 12 children during operations between September to end of May 2024. There is a yearly graduation for children moving to Kindergarten which all parents and children from the preschool are invited to attend. We strive to be accessible to all families in our community by keeping tuition affordable and welcoming families from all walks of life. Tuition ranged from $150 for 2 days a month to $270 for 4 days a month; this year we had 4 children who received childcare subsidies through ACCB. The preschool also received CCFRI payments for all students and ECE-WE payments to help with securing qualified staff. Playshare is open mornings on regularly running school days from 9:00 to 11:45 allowing children ample time to connect with peers and teachers and have a safe learning environment. Playshare is a cooperative preschool managed by a volunteer board of parents elected yearly with many returning yearly while their children are enrolled.
