WE OPERATE A HISTORICAL MUSEUM THAT PRESERVES AND CARES FOR ARTIFACTS AND ARCHIVES FROM EARLY 1900'S TO PRESENT TIME. WE EDUCATE YOUTH BY OFFERING SCHOOL PROGRAMS AT OUR FACILITY TO SHOW HOW THEIR ANCESTORS LIVES PROGRESSED THE HARDSHIPS THEY ENDURED AND HOW LIFE IN GENERAL WAS DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WE EXPERIENCE TODAY. WE CARE FOR THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS THAT COMPOSE THE PRAIRIE WEST HISTORICAL CENTRE. TO ACCOMPLISH ALL THESE THINGS WE MUST DO A LOT OF FUNDRAISING AS WELL. WE HAVE WONDERFUL PARTICIPATION FROM APPROXIMATELY 50 VOLUNTEERS WHO CARE FOR THE GROUNDS AND BUILDINGS AND THE 1000S OF ARTIFACTS AND MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR THE DOORS OF OUR MUSEUM TO REMAIN OPEN. WE HAVE A VOLUNTEER TREASURER WHO DONATES MANY HOURS TO CARE FOR THE FINANCIAL WORKINGS OF OUR MUSEUM.
