Ongoing programs
Providence offers a number of specialized programs and services to support the developmental needs of young children. Early Intervention preschool and kindergarten programs are offered in our schools as well as in community preschools and child care centres. Supports provided include specialized learning approaches individualized therapy supports and building capacity within the professional child care community. Providence offers a number of specialized programs and services to support the developmental needs of young children. Early Intervention preschool and kindergarten programs are offered in our schools as well as in community preschools and child care centres. Supports provided include specialized learning approaches individualized therapy supports and building capacity within the professional child care community. The Inclusive Child Care Program supports eligible child care programs by providing information resources coaching and professional development and the Expanding Capacity and Learner Supports (ECLS) Program provides therapy supports to K-12 students and staff in independent and private schools. Providence believes that all children should be given the opportunity to reach for and achieve their full potential and is an advocate for and participant in strategic initiatives to advance early education across the province.
