Ongoing programs

Our purpose is to be a welcoming community that desires to know and share the love of Jesus Christ. All activities of HCC are open to the community inline with our purpose to extend the gospel of Jesus Christ. Activities include worship services teaching times group study pastoral care and ordinances. All programs of Holyrood Community Church endeavor to provide opportunities for Spiritual growth and health. We partner with Holyrood Community League to support community initiatives that align with our purpose such as a weekly drop-in play group and volunteer support at community events. We Show more

Our purpose is to be a welcoming community that desires to know and share the love of Jesus Christ. All activities of HCC are open to the community inline with our purpose to extend the gospel of Jesus Christ. Activities include worship services teaching times group study pastoral care and ordinances. All programs of Holyrood Community Church endeavor to provide opportunities for Spiritual growth and health. We partner with Holyrood Community League to support community initiatives that align with our purpose such as a weekly drop-in play group and volunteer support at community events. We also partner with Safe Families Edmonton a registered charity to offer support to families in crisis in our city. Qualifying disbursements: In 2024 HCC provided financial support to Canadian Church of God Ministries a registered charity to support regional and global initiatives to extend the gospel of Christ and made a qualifying disbursement to Safe Families Canada (Edmonton Chapter) in support of that charity's work in our city. Volunteers: Ongoing programs require volunteers as musicians worship team members discussion facilitators teachers hospitality facility maintenance and governance board members. In 2024 approximately 37 people regularly volunteered at HCC with an average time commitment of 24 hours annually.

In 2024 HCC engaged in ongoing collaboration with other faith communities in the city of Edmonton for the flourishing of spiritual growth and health in our community.
