The Society provides community based educational recreational health housing harm reduction and counselling programs for children and youths and their families particularly for but not exclusively for those referred by government agencies and other agencies. It also provides research related to activities and programs such as Family Futures - Advocacy teaching resource and parent courses Purpose Independent Secondary School daycares rent banks clinics and additional services and treatments.
New programs
A Drug Testing program was continued in partnership with an Ontario university and aims to help reduce deaths from tainted products by making a drug testing service available. Several early childhood projects were started for literacy enhancement and outreach. One child care program became fully operational during the fiscal.
