Ongoing programs

Vancouver Status of Women's ongoing work focuses on feminist community building with women and gender diverse peoples towards equity in social political and economic spheres. The Coordinating Collective provides ongoing support to individual women and other organizations from systematically marginalized communities through our Community Action Grants.

New programs

Vancouver Status of Women's key focus is our Community Action Grant program launched in 2022. It is an annual grant program designed to assist grassroots community initiatives. By investing in the community VSW hopes to continue their legacy of transformation towards a more equitable future. These grants are available to any women or gender diverse person seeking funding for a project/initiative that will benefit community in the Vancouver Lower Mainland.
