Ongoing programs

AVENS operates a senior campus with more than 100 employees including long-term care for 29 residents dementia care for 28 residents and independent living for seniors with 32 units of subsidized and unsubsidized housing. AVENS has approximately 50 part-time volunteers during various parts of the year. AVENS AGCO program was developed in 2020 with the addition of a greenhouse. Seniors living in elevated care and independently are encouraged to participate in growing food in the spring and summer encouraging community involvement and reducing social isolation.

New programs

Currently under construction is a 102 unit facility on the campus to add additional seniors housing This project will be completed in the fall of 2024.
