What it does — in its own words
Ongoing programs
We held weekly worship services (which were also available on line) Sunday school provided transportation for our Seniors every Sunday. Junior/Senior High School Youth Group meet weekly. Young Adults Program was developed and met once a month. Pastoral Care Committee who normally visits people in their homes made phone calls and sent cards. Twice a week Bible Study were held in the Church. An small group was started for new christians. Choir practices were held each week for men ladies and children. We helped those in need at Christmas and Easter. Knot All Knitters meet twice a month and do premie hats mittens for children and adults lap quilts. The quilts are given to those who are sick. Friends of Faith meet twice a month - it is a ladies group to meet and have different activities.
New programs
Outreach to new people who have moved to Canada and their English is limited. Printing sermons in some of their languages to help them feel more a part of the service. Meeting in a small group setting to help them with their questions in regards to our beliefs in the Presbyterian Church.
