Ongoing programs
We continue to act as the umbrella organization for several local arts groups. A Place for the Arts - an artist collective selling art and providing community programming; The Mineral Capital Concert Committee - live summer concerts for 9 weeks each year in July and August; North Hastings Community Choir - member organization providing choral concerts to the public twice per year; Bancroft Art & Craft Guild - summer and winter art shows; Performing Arts Bancroft - producing live theatre shows as required. We continue to act as the umbrella organization for several local arts groups. A Place for the Arts - an artist collective selling art and providing community programming; The Mineral Capital Concert Committee - live summer concerts for 9 weeks each year in July and August; North Hastings Community Choir - member organization providing choral concerts to the public twice per year; Bancroft Art & Craft Guild - summer and winter art shows; Performing Arts Bancroft - producing live theatre shows as required. North Hastings Community Band - weekly band rehearsals and several performances throughout the year for community members of all levels of experiences and ages. We continue to support the local high school with an art award each year. We collaborate with local municipal and provincial government as required to support and promote the arts in North Hastings and surrounding communities. We welcome volunteers to all groups and pride ourselves on inclusion and diversity.
