What it does — in its own words

Ongoing programs

Worship Services offered every Sunday. Pastoral care continues to have monthly meetings in a local Nursing Homes and sing hymns with the residents and share scripture based stories. Many have Alzheimer's but music speaks to them as well as hugs and smiles. They sing along with our Pastoral Care Team. Every Sunday there is a children's story which is always enjoyed by the adults as well. We have a very active Family Life and Outreach team.

New programs

Community Café Hour from 9 - 9:30 before the church service and continues through out the year. Refreshments are available during the service as well as after the church service. People are encouraged to come early and visit with those in attendance. Everyone is welcome to stay and if they do they are invited to take their coffee etc. to the church service or just sit at the tables and enjoy the service. The residents enjoy singing the old hymns with the team and the visit as well. The Pastoral Care team continues to make a yearly donation to the Daily Bread which is a faith based devotional that they hand out when they visit people in their homes or at the nursing home. Various groups have hosted Trivia Nights as a fundraiser for a variety of local projects needing resources.
