CHRISTIAN BAPTIST CHURCH NEWMARKET

We believe that we have been called by God to be a local expression of the Church. Led by the Holy Spirit we are called 1) to honour and glorify the Lord in worship study prayer praise witness and service 2) to provide an opportunity for using collectively our God given talents and gifts 3) to provide for growth and Christian interaction and a warm fellowship acceptance 4) to help spiritually and physically our fellow members and others in the community and the world thus reflecting the love of God and Jesus Christ 5) to preach the Gospel of Jesus 6) to attain family and to equip ourselves to grow individually and collectively to maturity in Christ. Activity in Canada - community ministries such as a porch pantry food bank which in addition to food items provides warm socks hygiene items and hats and mitts during the winter for those in need; pastoral counseling as needed; support to those in need; serving the community with weekly growth opportunities through zoom small groups and zoom Sunday church service in addition to live services; providing a weekly Wednesday community lunch to serve people and their needs in our community. The Wednesday cafe lunch provides a hot meal to any in need of food and a hot drink or water.
