CHAPLAIN AND PASTOR WITH VOLUNTEERS CONNECT/VISIT WITH THE ILL AND SHUT-INS .. BY PHONE AND VISITATION. ONGOING SPONSORSHIPS OF REFUGEE FAMILIES. HAVE A PEACE GARDEN WHERE INDIVIDUALS FROM THE PAST ARE REMEMBERED AND PROVIDES A PLACE OF REFLECTION. WE CONTINUE TO IMPLEMENT A BEARS AND BLANKET PROGRAM. CHAPLAIN AND VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE STUFFED BEARS AND BLANKETS TO THOSE WHO ARE SHUT0IN OR IN A LONG TERM CARE HOME AND HAVE FEW OR NO VISITORS. OUR LIST OF HOMES VISITED IN GROWING. WE ARE ALSO PROVIDING CLOTHING AND BICYCLES FOR TEMPORARY MIGRANT FRAMM WORKERS. CHAPLAIN IS COLLECTING BOOKS FOR CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL SYSTEM PROVIDING THEM WITH BOOKS TO TAKE HOME AND LEARN TO READ. THESE CHILDREN ARE MOSTLY FROM FAMILIES LIVING IN POVERTY OR NEW IMMIGRANT FAMILIES LEARNING ENGLISH.
