Ongoing programs
IN 2024 WE PROVIDED 11 BURSARIES TO 8 HIGH SCHOOL GRADS TO HELP IN FURTHERING THEIR EDUCATION. ALL SOCIETY WORK IS DONE BY VOLUNTEERS. WE ARE A REMOTE SPARSELY POPULATED REGION WITH A VERY SMALL HIGH SCHOOL SERVING A LARGE GEOGRAPHIC AREA. THERE IS A VERY HIGH RATE OF POVERTY IN OUR REGION. OUR COMMUNITY DONATES EVERY YEAR TO TRY TO GIVE OUR STUDENTS MORE OPPORTUNITY FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. WE SUPPORT BOTH ACADEMIC AND NON-ACADEMIC EDUCATION PATHS.
