KINGS OWN CALGARY REGIMENTAL FUNDS FOUNDATION

1) To act as a charity to benefit the community as a whole from a cultural point of view by preserving the traditions of the Kinds Own Calgary Regiment and by donating uniforms and their respective accoutrements. 2) To strengthen the relationship between the Regiment and the community at large and promote public awareness of the Canadian Armed Forces and in particular the Regiment. 3) To fund educational activities to assist young Canadian in understanding and appreciating the role that the Canadian Armed forces and the Regiment have played in Canadian history. 4) To collect maintain and preserve artifacts and other items of historical significance relevant to the history of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Regiment. 5) To collect disseminate and publish information concerning the Regiment's history to current serving and past members of the Regiment and the public. 6) To communicate the activities of the Regiment to current serving and past members of the Regiment. 7) to promote the well-being of current serving and past members of the Regiment cadet organizations and families 8) To improve the general operating and administrative efficiency of the Regiment and all its ranks 9) To foster strong liaisons with governments at all levels and other military related and civilian organizations to achieve the foregoing.
