A Our Montessori school was again fully subscribed by September 2024. We were able to support local homeless shelters and food kitchens by donating large quantities of food and clothing throughout 2024. As well a number of members continued to volunteer in preparing and serving food at a local soup kitchen. Our congregation again donated new toys throughout December of 2024 to support the Durham Police Toy Drive. Some church groups continued to meet electronically during 2024 but others returned to in-person meetings at the choice of the groups themselves. Our church council has also returned to monthly in-person meetings and our annual meeting has also returned to in-person format.
New programs
Our minister has now opened up two bible study groups in 2024 that were cancelled during the pandemic. Our youth group formed by our Christian Education committee has shown involvement in participating in church services.
