MCC is a worldwide non-profit organization that shares God’s love and compassion for all by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. MCC Ontario supports the international programs of MCC through our financial and material resource gifts to MCC Canada. We operate social enterprise initiatives such as Thrift Shops where donated items are available at a low cost. MCC is a worldwide non-profit organization that shares God’s love and compassion for all by responding to basic human needs and working for peace and justice. MCC Ontario supports the international programs of MCC through our financial and material resource gifts to MCC Canada. We operate social enterprise initiatives such as Thrift Shops where donated items are available at a low cost. We engage and educate our constituents supporters and the public on MCC’s local and international relief development and peace projects. In Ontario we provide direct service programming through social inclusion peace-building and restorative justice initiatives with marginalized populations such as: newcomers homeless low-income and Indigenous populations. We recruit volunteers to work with us to foster healing hope community and belonging. We educate our constituency supporters and the public on ways to engage with and support marginalized people. These efforts include the collection of material aid for relief efforts as well as supporting advocacy sustainability and prevention efforts.
