CADS-NCD IS THE EASTERN ONTARIO AND WESTERN QUEBEC DIVISION OF CANADIAN ADAPTIVE SNOWSPORTS (CADS) A NATIONAL ALPINE SKI SNOW BOARDING AND SNOW SLIDING PROGRAM. IT CONSISTS OF DRYLAND TRAINING FOLLOWED BY EIGHT OR MORE WEEKS OF INSTRUCTION SESSIONS INCLUDING COMPETITION IN THE FORM OF PARA-ALPINE RACES FOR OUR PARA-SKI MEMBERS AT FIVE LOCAL OTTAWA GATINEAU QC SKI HILLS. THIS WAS OUR 45TH YEAR OF CONTINUOUS OPERATION AND 3RD YEAR COMING OUT OF THE COVID-19 LOCK DOWN. CADS-NCD DELIVERED THESE SNOW SPORTS TO 220 SKIERS ATHLETES WITH ADAPTIVE NEEDS.
