Ongoing programs
Held Sunday morning worship and mid-week groups and fellowship related activities. Worship is held virtually as well as in-person. Community Wellness program administered to the wider community supporting the many facets of an individual's life including spiritual emotional physical mental and environmental. Held Sunday morning worship and mid-week groups and fellowship related activities. Worship is held virtually as well as in-person. Community Wellness program administered to the wider community supporting the many facets of an individual's life including spiritual emotional physical mental and environmental. Connection groups allowing community members to meet and get to know others within the local community. QueerSpace - an outreach initiative conducted to create safer space where people who identify as 2SLGBQ+ meet and build community provide and receive support with a view of ensuring there is a sense of belonging. Refugee sponsorship activities provided to refugees in conjunction with other neighbourhood religious organizations and the Government of Canada. Activities include locating places to live for the refugees and through appeals to the wider community furnishing the residence with furniture clothing and food. Food and shelter program operated in partnership with Toronto Social Services and North York General Hospital for the disadvantaged through our weekly meal program held each Wednesday. Operate a scouting and guides program using the resources of Scouts Canada. Food drives administered to support the food bank organization. Donations made to the Ministry and Service Fund of The United Church of Canada.
