AT OUR PLACE PEEL WE PROVIDE A CONTINUUM OF CARE FOR HOMELESS/AT-RISK YOUTH ENCOMPASSING HOUSING EMPLOYMENT FAMILY RECONCILIATION MENTAL HEALTH AND OVERALL WELL-BEING. WE WORK WITH THE YOUTH TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FROM PREVENTION SHELTER AND AFTERCARE. OUR CORE PROGRAMS ARE MADE UP TWO EMERGENCY YOUTH SHELTERS THAT OPERATE 24 HOURS A DAY AND WE PROVIDE: SHELTER BASIC NEEDS COUNSELLING AND CASE MANAGEMENT. YOUTH HAVE ACCESS TO LAUNDRY SHOWER TRANSIT PERSONAL NEEDS SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND CLOTHING. YOUTH RESIDING AT THE SHELTERS HAVE ACCESS TO BASIC NEEDS GOAL PLANNING WELL-BEING AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORTS AND CONNECTIONS TO RESOURCES AND PROGRAMMING. THE RESOURCE ROOM - A SPACE LOCATED IN ONE OF THE SHELTERS WHERE YOUTH ACCESS LIFE SKILLS PROGRAMMING AND COMPUTERS/PRINTERS FOR EMPLOYMENT AND HOUSING PURPOSES. OUTREACH SERVICES - A TEAM OF HOUSING WORKERS INTENSIVE CASE WORKERS AND A FAMILY RECONCILIATION WORKER WHO PROVIDE AFTER-CARE SERVICES FOR YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES.
