To provide shared worship and Christian fellowship in the communities of McBride Dunster and Valemount BC. the Robson Valley Shared Ministry is funded by donations from the McBride Anglican /United Church and the Valemount Anglican/United Church. Some years we receive grants from the Pacific Mountain Regional Council of the United Church of Canada and the Territory of the People - Anglican Church. The Robson Valley Shared Ministry pays payroll and housing costs travel expenses conference fees and associated worship costs for our clergy. We are also part of a small rural general hospital's Spiritual Care Committee providing monthly worship /prayer services in turn with other local church denominations. Our minister continues with on-call spiritual support for staff patients residents and their families as per Northern Health Authority protocols. We continue with Camp Spirit a vacation bible school program in both communities. A well received program that we look forward to running each year. As an outreach to the McBride and area community the 'Downtown Thrift Store' is a busy little place twice a week offering social connections as well as a place to buy used clothing and small household items. In Valemount the 'Blessings Thrift Store' has become a valuable outreach resource for that community providing quality used goods clothing and social opportunities on a weekly basis.
