We also maintain and support our own center and fire hall to required standards of all government agencies. 7. We need to continuously fund raise to 'pay the bills'. 8. Department members are certified Medical First Responders or are in process of obtaining the certification. All members are trained in various levels of First Aid. When time and funds allow we also offer training to local citizens.

New programs

No new programs due to lack of funds and some COVID related restrictions. Our volunteer fire department is presently heavily involved in training new applicants for the required Level One (1) fire fighting skills as required by a variety of government agencies. To obtain Level 1 requires approximately 200 hours of classroom and operational learning.
