Ongoing programs
We hold weekly worship services as sell as accoasional extra services according to our Faith traditions. These services are offered in person and are also via recorded and distributed on YouTube Facebook and our webpage. We offer weekly Bible study via Zoom. We offer Pastoral care and counselling for anyone seeking help (not limited to Church members). We also provide workshops for those wishing to assist in palliative counselling. We offer Pastoral care and counselling for anyone seeking help (not limited to Church members). We also provide workshops for those wishing to assist in palliative counselling. We collect mittens hats and scarves for distribution to inner city schools. We collect for assemble and distribute 'Christmas Hampers' of food and gifts for needy families. We knit and give 'Prayer shawls' to anyone who is sick or sorrowful. We Christmas Carol at local senior's homes and have provided gifts of new unused items to lonely seniors and shut ins. We support the work of other charitable groups who have a larger reach in the world such as the PWRDF CLWR and the Urban Mission of Winnipeg.
New programs
With the assistance of a qualified palliative care counselor we are offering workshops for those who would like to be able to do home and hospital visits. We are active members of a group of interdenominational churches in the west Winnipeg area working to help the larger community of our neighbourhood. We are planning a workshop on end of life issues with a panel of experts including Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) funeral planning and legal issues such as wills Power of Attorney and Living Wills
