St . George on Yonge is a vibrant church that has a history of almost 100 years serving primarly the Willowdale area in Toronto. It has many numerous ministry programs and activities. Mission statement ' nurture our relationships with God in Christ with one another and with our community'. During later part of 2021 and fully in 2022 we began in person services and various programs as stated below : 1) Sunday worship service - on line virtual 2) Pastoral care - caring for the sick elderly bereaved and needy - on line meeting or phone calls 3) Sunday School and youth program activities - on line virtual 4) Gift card program - mailing to the needy or distributed outside the building 5) Coffee fellowship hour - fellowship - on line virtual 6) Prayer meetings - on line virtual 7) Outreach - provide no cost /low cost use of facilities for organizations such as AA ; Korean church and Persian church 8) Partner with local churches and Diocese - Evaluate and strategize supporting and encouraging youth involvement 9) Partner with licensed Daycare - rent facility to YCCCI Monday to Friday - in person 10) Partner with the Don Valley Refugee Resettlement organization.
