It will also help Hamilton business and industry to profile their operations and the skilled workers they require. 4. Health & Safety Certifications delivered by a health and safety expert (former long-time Ministry of Labour safety professional) this session is an introduction to key elements that serve as a primer for completing the mandatory (for all Ontario workers) Health and Safety Awareness certificate. The session is full of real-life examples great visuals and key messages to help workers stay safe on the job. 5. The Workforce Accelerator Generating Employment (W.A.G.E.) II Construction Fundamentals program in partnership with Mohawk College offering 16-week course to update skills and training to get a job in this quickly-growing sector. 6. Gateway to the Trades is a part-time facilitated skilled trades exploration and employment-readiness program that will equip participants with the skills and connections to find meaningful employment in the skilled trades.
