IN ADDITION TO SERVICING OUR IMMEDIATE AREA WITH FIRE PROTECTION WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE MUTUAL AID TO OUR COMMUNITY FIRE DEPARTMENTS. ON GOING SUPPORT FOR MVA EMERGENCY RESPONSE WITH VEHICLE EXTRICATION SERVICES ON OUR LOCAL HIGHWAYS SUPPORT TO EHS AND RCMP AND DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOUCES FOR FORESTRY RELATED FIRE RESPONSE.

2024 MARKED THE CULMINATION OF 22 YEARS OF FUND RAISING WITH THE PURCHASE OF A NEW PUMPER TRUCK TO THE COST OF $700 000! ALSO DID A CAPITOL EXPANSION ON OUR FIRE HALL TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW MUCH LARGER PUMPER TRUCK ! THESE MAJOR PURCHASES AND IMPROVEMENTS WERE THE RESULT OF 20+ YEARS OF FUND RAISING AND INVESTMENT BY ALL VOLUNTEER MEMBERS. ON GOING TRAINING TO CERTIFY MORE QUALIFIED TRUCK / PUMPER VOLUNTEER MEMBERS AND OUR DEPARTMENT IS NOW ABLE TO ENTER OUR SECOND YEAR PROVIDING TRAINED PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT FOR ICE RESCUE.
