THE REGINA COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA WELCOMES SENIORS ADULTS AND YOUNG AMATEUR MUSICIANS INTERESTED IN PLAYING ORCHESTRAL MUSIC IN A FUND AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT. THIS GROUP IS OPEN TO ANYONE WITHOUT AUDITIONS; HOWEVER BASIC INSTRUMENTAL AND MUSICAL SKILLS ARE NECESSARY SINCE THE ORCHESTRA’S PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE IS PERFORMANCE RATHER THAN INSTRUCTION. ANNUALLY THE REGINA COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA PLAY APPROXIMATELY SEVEN CONCERTS. FIVE OR SIX OF THESE ARE FOR RESIDENCES IN SENIORS HOMES PUBLIC AND PRIVATE.
