THE VANCOUVER POLICE HISTORICAL SOCIETY OPERATES THE VANCOUVER POLICE MUSEUM & ARCHIVES. THE MUSEUM HOSTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EXHIBITS ABOUT LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT FORENSICS AND CRIMINAL AND DEATH INVESTIGATION. THE MUSEUM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STEWARDSHIP OF AN EXTENSIVE HISTORIC OBJECT COLLECTION AND ARCHIVES. THE MANDATE OF THE MUSEUM HAS EXPANDED TO INCLUDE THE HISTORY OF THE VANCOUVER CORONER'S SERVICES AND THE CITY ANALYSTS LABRATORY BOTH OF WHICH ONCE OPERATED OUT OF THE CORONERS COURT HERITAGE BUILDING AT 240 EAST CORDOVA STREET WHERE THE MUSEUM IS LOCATED.
