UNICAMP OF ONTARIO INCORPORATED

Unicamp of Ontario is a Unitarian Universalist (UU) camp committed to providing a safe and welcoming seasonal camp and spiritual retreat for UU adherants and the general public. Our Unitarian Universalist values-based programs and activities are designed to encourage personal and spiritual growth to advance the UU faith. Ongoing Activities include: 1)Kid's & Youth Programming: Kid's Camp (3 Weeks); Leaders-in-Training; Counsellors-in-Training; and Junior Youth Camp (Jouth). These programs encourage the practice of the UU Principles (religious tenets) and spiritual growth utilizing fun activities such as games songs art rituals and UU Principles-based cabin counsels. 2)Family Camp (3 weeks) offers spiritual exploration programming for children and adults. Family camps also provide valued opportunities for inter-congregational networking and connections. 3) Adult Programs (seminars) that incorporate and express the UU Principles and Sources through a variety of spiritual practices are offered through-out the season. These include: Sunday Services; Sacred Circle Dance; Self-Compassion workshop; Yoga; Meditation; Chanting; Labyrinth Walks; and UU 7th Principle Nature Walks. 4)Camperships: Fee subsidies as available are offered for low income families and those who identify as Black Indigenous and People of Colour. 5)Volunteerism: Many volunteers collectively offer thousands of hours to support the camp's UU mission through service weekends offering programs and governance duties.
