Ongoing programs

Vancouver Foundation leverages the generosity of donors towards projects initiatives and organizations working to create meaningful and lasting impact on our communities. We continued delivering a number of grant programs and initiatives such as the LEVEL Youth Policy Program Neighbourhood Small Grants Thriving Indigenous Systems Grants Participatory Action Research Grants and LEVEL BIPOC Grants as well as granting through donor advised funds and agency endowment funds to support this mission.

New programs

Established the Transforming Systems Grants to provide grants of $300 000 for three years to charities non-profits and community co-operatives in BC that are advancing systemic change by addressing the root causes of inequality and supporting those most affected to shape their own futures. Established the Humanitarian Crisis Grants to provide funding for up to a total of $500 000 to support communities in BC impacted by humanitarian crises. Established a multi-year grant to support the Pathways program and partnership a joint initiative of Arts BC British Columbia Museums Association (BCMA) Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance (GVPTA) and the Rural Arts Inclusion Lab (RAIL) which advances equity and systems change in the arts and culture sector in BC.
