New programs

DURING 2024 A NEW SCHOLARSHIP WAS ESTABLISHED THE INDIGENOUS MANITOBA WILDLIFE FELLOWSHIP FUND. THE FIRST SCHOLARSHIP FROM THIS NEW PROGRAM WILL BE AWARDED IN 2025. THE FOUNDATION IS ALSO WORKING WITH THE FEDERATION TO CREATE A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE BASED IN ATLANTIC CANADA TO LEASE OR SELL ROPELESS FISHING GEAR TO LOBSTER AND CRAB FISHERS. REVENUES FROM THE BUSINESS WILL BE RE-INVESTED IN CWF CONSERVATION PROGRAMS. THIS INITIATIVE WILL BE LAUNCHED IN LATE 2024.
