SERVING AS AN ESTABLISHED CULTURAL ORGANIZATION AND COMMUNITY GATHERING SPACE SINCE 1929 THE CAPITOL CENTRE DRIVES PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS ACTIVITY THROUGH THE PROVISIONS OF A FULLY EQUIPPED STATE OF THE ARTS FACILITY STAFF EXPERTISE AND LEADERSHIP. WE ARE NOT FOR PROFIT THAT HAS BEEN THE HOME OF THE ARTS AND ENTERTAINMENTS FOR THE LAST 35 YEARS AND ARE A DESIGNATED MUNICIPAL HEARITAGE BUIDLING.
New programs
IN 2023 WE ADDED NEW PROGRAMMING IN THE FORM OF OUR NEXT GENERATION EDUCATION SERIES. THE NEXT GENERATION EDUCATION SERIES IS DEDICATED TO INSPIRING YOUTH USING THE PERFORMING ARTS WITH THE INTENTION OF BEING MORE THAN A TRADITIONAL FIELD TRIP. ALL PERFORMANCES HAD CURRIRULUM CONNECTIONS AND WERE SUPPORTED WITH STUDY GUIDES. IN IT'S FIRST YEAR JUST OVER 2000 STUDENTS TOOK PART.
