Sooke Family Resource Society offers a variety of programs and services for children youth adults and families. These include family support parenting education childcare resource and referral licensed preschool prenatal education and outreach early years services youth outreach life skills and community inclusion home sharing mental health assessment and treatment affordable counselling and health and wellness workshops. Sooke Family Resource Society offers a variety of programs and services for children youth adults and families. These include family support parenting education childcare resource and referral licensed preschool prenatal education and outreach early years services youth outreach life skills and community inclusion home sharing mental health assessment and treatment affordable counselling and health and wellness workshops. Community services include: a resource library; distribution of donated food bus tickets voucher for both food and clothing technology support and education and services for people receiving income assistance. The Society runs a Community Thrift Shop which has gently used household items and clothing for sale at affordable prices. For the fiscal year ending March 31 2024 the Society received significant support from the surrounding community in the form of donated goods ($313 869) and 7 842 volunteer hours of service ($117 603).
