THE CHARITY'S ONGOING ACTIVITIES MAINLY FOCUS ON THE SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND TEENS. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH DAILY BIBLE TEACHING SESSIONS TAUGHT BY QUALIFIED PERSONS BOTH DURING THE DAY AND EVENING. ANOTHER ASPECT OF THE CHARITY IS A FOCUS ON PHYSICAL EMOTIONAL SOCIAL AND MENTAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND TEENS. THIS IS ACHIEVED THROUGH INSTRUCTION BY TRAINED LEADERS IN BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM SPORTS SUCH AS CANOEING SWIMMING BIKING FIELD GAMES HIKING AND OTHER INDOOR AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE THE CAMP ALSO HOSTS WEEKEND AND FULL WEEK RENTALS TO VARIOUS GROUPS SUCH AS MEN'S AND WOMEN'S CHURCH GROUPS FAMILIES JUNIOR HIGH SENIOR HIGH AND COLLEGE MUSIC SPORTS ETC. YOUTH RETREATS AND OTHERS. THESE TAKE PLACE IN THE SPRING SUMMER AND FALL. THE NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS AT THE CAMP RANGES FROM ABOUT 40-60. THOSE WHO HAVE DIRECT INVOLVEMENT WITH CAMP PARTICIPANTS ARE BASICALLY WITH THEM 24 HOURS PER DAY A 6 DAY CAMP. OTHER VOLUNTEERS SPEND 10-15 HOURS PER DAY PREPARING MEALS AND DOING UPKEEP OF THE CAMP WHILE ACTIVITIES ARE TAKING PLACE. OTHER VOLUNTEERS SPEND CONSIDERABLE HOURS PREPARING THE CAMP IN THE SPRING FOR OPERATION DURING THE SUMMER AND SHUTTING IT DOWN FOR THE WINTER. THERE ARE ALSO VOLUNTEERS WHO PREPARE INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL CONDUCT TRAINING SESSIONS FOR CAMP LEADERS MAINTAIN THE CAMP'S FINANCES ATTEND ORGANIZATIONAL MEETINGS AND THE LIKE.
