Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre (PARC) is a comprehensive multi-service agency dedicated to addressing a variety of critical issues including poverty mental health addiction homelessness and food security among our members. Our extensive range of programs includes a daily drop-in program one-on-one case management peer worker accompaniment supportive housing housing access collaborative care employment assistance housing access support financial trustee services a community food program a multitude of special events and outings and the operation of our social enterprise. *Ou Show more

Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre (PARC) is a comprehensive multi-service agency dedicated to addressing a variety of critical issues including poverty mental health addiction homelessness and food security among our members. Our extensive range of programs includes a daily drop-in program one-on-one case management peer worker accompaniment supportive housing housing access collaborative care employment assistance housing access support financial trustee services a community food program a multitude of special events and outings and the operation of our social enterprise. *Our PARC meal program serves over 150 000 meals annually to marginalized adults. *Our PARC peer support program actively advocates for and connects with over 1 200 members each year. *Our PARC case management program diligently addresses the complex needs of more than 100 members annually. *Our PARC Money Matters program provides voluntary trusteeship services for 60 members. *Our PARC Drop-In program offers 40 members the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience each year. *Our PARC Peer Shelter program offers training and employment opportunities to adults with lived experience in homelessness mental health addiction and poverty empowering them to become community workers. *PARC's supportive housing initiative provides secure accommodation for 109 tenants each year across six locations: 1499 Queen St. West Edmond Place (194 Dowling Ave.) 26 Maynard Ave. 28 and 30 Beaty Ave. and 1501 Queen St. West. *PARC actively creates supportive employment opportunities for more than 120 members annually including direct involvement in the operation of our building and food programming. *PARC serves as a meeting place for 30 community agencies in the Parkdale neighbourhood. *Our new Collaborative Care team work 1:1 with members to help stabilize housing through support interventions tailored by a team of experts in mental health support hording support harm reduction and eviction prevention. *Housing Hub works to offer housing search housing placement and Rent Bank application.
