REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CONGREGATION AND ITS GROUPS HELD BY MEMBERS AND ADHERENTS FOR RELIGIOUS COUNSELING EDUCATION OUTREACH AND CHARITABLE PURPOSES. THE COMMUNITY GARDEN STARTED IN 2013 CONTINUED TO SHARE ITS PRODUCE WITH MEMBERS OF THE CHURCH THE COMMUNITY LOCAL FOOD BANKS AS WELL AS GARDEN VOLUNTEERS. A POLLINATOR GARDEN WAS ADDED TO THE COMMUNITY GARDEN IN 2023. IT IS STILL UNDERWAY. THE CHURCH ALSO AGREED TO BECOME A CONSTITUENT GROUP THROUGH THE PRESBYTERIAN WORLD SERVICE & DEVELOPMENT REFUGEE SPONSORSHIP - SETTLEMENT PLAN IN 2023. MHP PARTICIPATED IN A SCHOOL PROGRAM CALLED 'THEY WALKED THESE STREETS...WE WILL REMEMBER THEM' A REMEMBRANCE WEEK PROJECT. IT WAS AN INSTALLATION OF THE NAMES AND PICTURES OF FALLEN SOLDIERS FROM THE NEIGHBOURHOOD AS WELL AS A DISPLAY OF POPPIES THAT TOOK PLACE AT A NUMBER OF CHURCHES IN THE AREA. THIS IS INTENDED TO BE AN ANNUAL INSTALLATION.
