THE AGENCY ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORT TO LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FIRST NATIONS PEOPLE TO REDUCE FINANCIAL BARRIERS AND INCREASE THE FINANCIAL WELL-BEING OF ONTARIANS LIVING IN OR HIGH RISK POVERTY. NO NEW PROGRAMS YET A PARTNERSHIP WITH DESJARDINS ONTARIO CREDIT UNION IS IN THE PLANNING STAGES. THE PROGRAM WILL BE PART OF THE FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS CURRENTLY BEING RUN AT OUR AGENCY. OUR AGENCY WILL PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES FOR DESJARDINS TO ADMINISTER SMALL PERSONAL LOANS FOR CLIENTS. IT IS EXPECTED THAT IS PROGRAM WILL START IN JUNE 2024.
