Meals on Wheels London partners with volunteers to promote wellness health and independence through the provision of nutritious daily fresh meals weekly frozen meals daily breakfast bags food boxes transportation services to wellness appointments and a friendly visiting program. Subsidy is available for those who meet our eligibility requirements and we assist clients in crisis through our crisis/compassionate program. Meals on Wheels London offers 4 types of services to seniors and adults living with a disability: Meals on Wheels - Fresh or frozen meals delivered by volunteers to clients. Food Box Program - delivering food boxes from the London Food bank for clients who cannot otherwise get to the food bank Wheel to Wellness - Transportation to wellness related appointments by volunteers for clients Friendly visiting - individual and group visits (one-on-one phone call an in-person meeting a group in-person meeting or a group virtual meeting) to help reduce social isolation sometimes experienced by our clients.
