SBS BC PROVIDES PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO CHILDREN IN CARE THEIR FAMILIES AND YOUTH AT RISK. SBS BC CONTINUES TO MAINTAIN CORE PROGRAMMING AT OUR VILLAGE SITE AS WELL AS IN THE GENERAL COMMUNITY. THE PROGRAMS INCLUDE MENTAL WELLNESS CAREGIVER/FAMILY SUPPORT CAMPS RECREATION CULTURAL CONNECTIONS EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AND YOUTH INCLUDING TRANSITION TO ADULTHOOD TRANSITION HOUSING AND AFTER CARE SERVICES. WE HAVE COMMENCED AN ORGANIZATION WIDE RECONCILIATION PROCESS AND ARE REACHING OUT TO WORK AND PARTNER WITH LOCAL FIRST NATIONS SBS BC IS ALSO VERY PROUD TO OFFER INCREASED SUPPORT TO YOUTH EXITING THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM FACING THE CHALLENGES OF INDEPENDENT LIVING AND TO HONOR LIFELONG CONNECTIONS AND SUPPORT TO FOSTER CHILDREN THROUGH OUR AFTER CARE PROGRAM AND LIFELONG COMMITMENT OF BELONGING.
