Ongoing programs
SRABC is committed to assisting BC's stroke survivors after they leave hospital and their caregivers to improve their quality of life. The core elements of the programs are as follow: 1. Mobility exercises 2. Improvement of communication and memory 3. Acceptance social interaction and recreation 4. Peer support 5. Caregiver Support 6. Education about stroke risk and impairment. SRABC offers information and referral services to the public and distributes information about strokes to stroke survivors and their families and to other agencies that provide stroke-related services.
