THE SOCIETY'S MAIN PURPOSE IS THE SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES BEFORE AND AFTER HEART SURGERY BY SOCIETY VOLUNTEERS WHO HAVE UNDERGONE RELATED SURGERY. RELATED ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: (A) OPERATION OF THE VICTORIA HEART HOUSE A BED AND BREAKFAST ESTABLISHMENT FOR THE ACCOMODATION OF SPOUSES AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THEIR HOSPITALIZATION.
