The mission of Prison Fellowship Canada (PFC) is to equip and mobilize the Canadian Christian Community to respond to the issue of crime and the restoration of offenders. PFC’s support represents the Christian faith and includes theological direction pastoral care supervision and the equipping of volunteers to provide chaplaincy services inside the jail and prisons across Canada as well as upon release into the community. The mission of Prison Fellowship Canada (PFC) is to equip and mobilize the Canadian Christian Community to respond to the issue of crime and the restoration of offenders. PFC’s support represents the Christian faith and includes theological direction pastoral care supervision and the equipping of volunteers to provide chaplaincy services inside the jail and prisons across Canada as well as upon release into the community. PFC provides in-prison bible studies and one on one spiritual care chapel services and restorative justice programming. PFC also offers an in-prison phone line for spiritual care including prayer and Scripture reading. PFC provides spiritual care programs in the community and assists in the connection between prisoners ex-prisoners and their families including children. PFC’s Bridgecare reintegration program extends the value of chaplaincy services for prisoners into the community to support them as they reintegrate.
