THE SOCIETY CONTINUES TO DEVELOP A HERITAGE VILLAGE BY RESTORING OR RECONSTRUCTING TWENTY ON (21) BUILDINGS ( SOME DATING FROM THE 19TH CENTURY) ON AN RIGHT (8) ACRE SITE. THESE BUILDINGS ARE USED AS A MUSEUM TO HOUSE A GROWING COLLECTION OF ARTIFACTS. THE SOCIETY HOSTS MANY PUBLIC EVENTS SUCH AS ART SHOWS; CRAFT DISPLAYS; QUILT SHOWS; REUNION; WEDDINGS; OPEN HOUSES; FESTIVAL OF TREES; SETTLERS' DAY; CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL. THE SOCIETY PROVIDES A COMMUNITY AN CULTURAL CENTRE THAT COORDINATES NUMEROUS ART AND CRAFT COURSES.
