THE HOUSE OF BREAD MONASTERY WITNESSES TO A VIABLE MONASTIC LIFE BALANCING PERSONAL AND CORPORATE PRAYER WITH CHRISTIAN MINISTRY. FROM OUR BENEDICTINE MONASTERY SITUATED ON WESTWOOD LAKE IN NANAIMO WE SHARE OUR SPIRITUALITY WITH THOSE WHO LIVE ON VANCOUVER ISLAND AND BEYOND. THE OBLATE AND ASSOCIATE PROGRAMS CONTINUE TO BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF OUR COMMUNITY LIFE. RETREATS ARE OFFERED TO BOTH OBLATES AND INTERESTED OTHERS TO CONTINUE TO SHARE THE VALUES OF BENEDICTINE LIFE AND SPIRITUALITY IN THEIR DAY TO DAY LIVES.
