Ongoing programs

In 2024 Glen Abbey United Church (GAUC) conducted worship services in person and virtually. In the summer months GAUC shared services with other United Churches in Oakville. Programs provided by Glen Abbey United Church (GAUC) include pastoral care youth programs social and fellowship activities music for services and Sunday school for children. In 2024 Glen Abbey United Church (GAUC) conducted worship services in person and virtually. In the summer months GAUC shared services with other United Churches in Oakville. Programs provided by Glen Abbey United Church (GAUC) include pastoral care youth programs social and fellowship activities music for services and Sunday school for children. GAUC has discussions with other United Churches in Oakville on matters of joint interest. GAUC conducts an active outreach program on both a local and international basis. Programs include financial support for local and international charities assistance to refugees coming to Canada support for members of congregation in need speaker events and congregation communications. GAUC maintains a relationship with Delmanor Glen Abbey an independent living centre on the property adjacent to the church. GAUC received funds from Delmanor in 2024. Funds were used for designated outreach activities. GAUC is active in Oakville and rents its buildings to organizations that serve our community (20 in 2024).
