• Greening Canada's School Grounds - Tree Canada supports tree and shrubs planting projects in educational institutions across Canada. • Edible Trees - Tree Canada promotes the planting and maintenance of fruit and nut-bearing trees in communities on publicly-accessible sites. • National Greening Program - mass seedling planting program across Canada. Projects take place every year in each of 5 regions: British Columbia (BC) Prairies (AB SK MB) Ontario (ON) Quebec (QC) and Atlantic (PE NB NS NL) targeting areas where there is a need for reforestation or afforestation due to human activity or other causes. • National Tree Day – Tree planting events funded by Tree Canada and its sponsors. This annual celebration occurs in all provinces allowing corporate and community volunteers the chance to plant learn and appreciate the many benefits that trees provide to us. • Canadian Urban Forest Network - knowledge transfer program providing opportunities among individuals municipalities provincial and federal departments and academic research groups to exchange on topics in urban forestry. • Grow Clean Air - offsetting carbon emissions through certified partners. • Partners In Planting - Employee engagement events that allow corporate sponsors to plant and steward trees in urban centers across the country focusing on neighbourhoods where their employees live and work. • Operation Releaf - aimed at helping communities recover from natural disasters and pests by restoring community urban and rural green spaces. Tree Canada aims to support everyone impacted by the disasters including private residents landowners and municipalities. • Urban Programs: Various large-scale planting projects in urban areas funded by major sponsors including BC Hydro Community ReGreening CN Montreal Urban Canopy Winnipeg One Million Tree Challenge. • Treemendous Communities – funding opportunities to support community tree planting projects that create long-lasting benefits. Funding is available to Canadian municipalities Indigenous communities business improvement associations non-profit and community groups.
