Ongoing programs

Throughout 2024 the Tetra Society of North America’s more than 300 volunteers designed created modified and adapted 219 assistive devices for people with disabilities across Canada. Over the year they responded to 412 requests for help from individuals with disabilities. The devices created by Tetra volunteers support clients in various settings including home work school and recreation. These devices range from adapted gardening planters to ergonomic workstations altered curling equipment and much more. In 2024 Tetra’s clients ranged in age from 1 to 97 years old. Additionally Tetra presented popular events such as TetraCon an annual conference that fosters community awareness of the organization’s mission and TetraNation a friendly competition between Tetra’s chapters showcasing videos of projects completed during the year.
