Ongoing programs

Carney Hill Neighbourhood Centre continues to provide support and services to the Community. We offer childcare to 95 children ages 30 months to 13 years. Our childcare programs have been serving the community for almost 30 years. Additionally services and supportive programs are offered through our drop in community centre (Hadih House). Access to basic necessities is provided along with programming and support services to promote healthy lifestyle choices. The demographic we serve is vulnerable and often marginalized. Carney Hill Neighbourhood Centre continues to provide support and services to the Community. We offer childcare to 95 children ages 30 months to 13 years. Our childcare programs have been serving the community for almost 30 years. Additionally services and supportive programs are offered through our drop in community centre (Hadih House). Access to basic necessities is provided along with programming and support services to promote healthy lifestyle choices. The demographic we serve is vulnerable and often marginalized. Programming and services are developed and delivered in response to identified community need. From this centre we offer breakfast/brunch daily as well as clothing household goods laundry services etc all free of charge with the aim of providing a helping hand to those to those in need.

New programs

We have not opened any new programs in this past fiscal year but plans are in the works for a renovation and a large Community Kitchen - offering the opportunity to assist in food sustainability programming for our Community and the greater area.
